little grey kitten:


As Mark (N8TWO) and I were working 40m voice on Saturday evening, we had an unexpected visitor. A small
grey kitten popped into our tent at frequent intervals, providing company and an occasional romp across the
logging laptop's keyboard.

On one visit, I noticed a lump in her fur. Pulling out what I thought was a bit of random debris, it turned out
to be a deer tick that hadn't managed to dig in yet. It got a stomp and a flick out the tent.

She also spent a little time hunting lightning bugs as dark set in, and kept me company for most of the evening
as I continued making voice contacts on 40m.
