Summer Field Day 2023 will be at Antique Acres in Waverly, North of Waterloo.
Address is 7610 Waverly Rd, Cedar Falls, IA 50613 (Google Maps link below)
Access will be a little unusual since Sturgis Falls is the same weekend and will have old highway 218 out of
Waterloo blocked. To get there from the South, go North on new 218 out of Cedar Falls and take the Cedar Wapsi
exit (C57), turn left/West, and take a left at the first stop sign. (Waverly Road) AA will be on the left.
We'll be showing up to start setting up around 10am on Saturday morning. Radios will start up at 1pm, running
through the night, finally ending at 1pm on Sunday. If you can, please stick around to help with packing up
so everyone can get home before dinner.
This venue will include lots of amenities including a large parking lot, indoor shelter with AC, fridge,
kitchenette, running water, and flush toilets. So we're not roughing it this year.
Bring a dish to share. Water/pop/coffee will be provided. Camping is available though it's not free. See
the link below for prices and options. Al will be running the grill if you have something to fire up.
The forecast has changed, it looks like we're going to be overcast with rain for most of the event, but there
may be periods of time where it's hot and muggy. We'll probably spend most of or time indoors.
