We brought the club's recently upgraded solar trailer to the event. 24 to 12 volt dc converters were placed
by each radio, with a drop cord run to the trailer and its 24v batteries and solar panel. It also has a new
24v to 120vac inverter installed for powering digital radios and logging laptop charging.
I suspect the panel isn't doing a lot of good with the batteries, it looks pretty small and I think it's more
of a "battery trailer" than it is a "solar trailer".
