2018 Field Day Evaluation:

RESULTS:
This year's location (truck stop) generated much MUCH public exposure than
usual, and was significantly easier to find and travel to. We talked to a great
deal of people that were just there to fuel up and had no idea there was an
event going on that day in the parking lot.
Despite having a large attendance, their parking lot was spacious and our setup
along the East side went well.
We were also allowed to set up one of our stations INSIDE the building, with
the staff opening up the gazebo in the NE corner for us to use.
Bathroom facilities were great, and having food and drink on-tap was very handy.

PROBLEMS:
146.94 was experiencing a birdie, probably generated by the gas pumps nearby.

ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT:

PLANNING:
We piggybacked off the iWarn group's logging software license this year to try
it out, and it worked really well. We won't be able to continue doing that, so
we'll need to look into getting our own license for the club.

MANPOWER:
nothing noteworthy

EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES:
It's fortunate though that we didn't forget anything that required a trip back
to the shack, as we were quite a distance outside Waterloo.
