There were 15 members (11 ARRL) and 6 guests in attendance this evening, listed below. MINUTES ------- Adjustments to last month's minutes: (none) Report accepted with no adjustments (N8TWO/N0TKC) TREASURER'S REPORT ------------------ Dave (KD0DK) reports we have $1,090.18 in savings/repeater fund and $1,879.87 in checking. This includes $40 in dues and $8.99 for logging software, but not $108.99 spent, $100 to Salvation Army. Report accepted Please contact Dave if you would like to get your dues paid for the year. Range is good, could be hit with a mobile in Waverly and Reinbeck, might make it to Charles City. 94 and 82 are up, as is Curt's 220. Mark (N8TWO): will get updated information to Nathan to update the station's coordination. As for access, the scout's office would like 24 hrs notice prior to our accessing it, and requires 2 people at a time, at least one of them "youth-protection trained" COMMITTEES ---------- Presentation Committee (Curt/NK0T, John/WB0MAR): (no report) Field Day 2022 Committee (Harold/N4HRL): (no report) OLD BUSINESS ------------ Al (KB0VGG): Winter Field Day - Ingawanis cabin turned out to be a bit cramped, could have used the available space more efficiently. (not much was discussed) Harold (N4HRL): haven't received any replies to the email that should have been sent out looking for committments on Summer Field Day, did it go out? Yes, people received it, just no responses! Nathan will send out another inquiry. Equipment/Setup/Takedown/Food/Operators/Health&Safety/PubAffairs/Greeters/Modes Hickory Hills shelter is reserved, 7AM-10PM Saturday only. (we aren't scheduled for overnight) NEW BUSINESS ------------ Stan (W0SJ) has a pair of 12 volt power supplies (Lambda, around 2A) free for the taking. Come get them before they go to the recycler. Al (KB0VGH) discussed obtaining a credit card to access club checking to make paying for testing costs easier. Al and Dave will coordinate. Jan (KE0IWP) make sure it has a set spending limit. ($500?) Approved (N0TKC/N8TWO) Mark (N8TWO): the next VE test is April 9 Tom (AE0TB) has an invoice for domain newneral for the next 2 years. Also he is RETIRING from the duties as the club's web master/host, we need to find someone by no later than July 1, 2023. The board has already approved ~$40 for domain name renewal, that was paid in Feb. Nate (N0ZYC): we need to collect all the relevant details regarding how the site is hosted and start looking for a replacement / someone to take over the duties. Al (KB0VGG) is about to start teaching amateur rado to a group of middle-school age kids at a co-op homeschool group. No details on student count yet though.
