MINUTES ------- Adjustments to last month's minutes: W0DT was the member who overpaid on dues (not W9DRR) Report accepted with one adjustment (N8TWO / KD0DK) TREASURER'S REPORT ------------------ Dave (KD0DK) reports we have $1,90.18 in savings/repeater fund and $1,511.86 in share-draft. (no activity) Report accepted (NT0KC / N8TWO) Please contact Dave if you would like to get your dues paid for the year. Our club membership form is also available on our club website at http://www.w0mg.net/ REPEATERS --------- Curt (NK0T): 220 is working well now that squelch was adjusted Dave (K0CQH) was notified that Plainfield is just barely getting into the '94 repeater. (that's somewhat typical for receive from the North though) Curt (NK0T): '82 repeater seems to be working fine Tom (AE0TB): Grundy is doing fine, d-star is not operational since nobody's around to use it. Contact Tom if you would like to see d-star re-enabled on this repeater. Mark (N8TWO): Is it possible to get d-star for JOTA? Probably not, it's too low to cover that location COMMITTEES ---------- Repeater Swap Committee (Jan/KE0RKO, John/WB0MAR, Curt/NK0T): (no report) Presentation Committee (Curt/NK0T, John/WB0MAR): (no report) OLD BUSINESS ------------ Mark (N8TWO) attended the JOTA meeting earlier today, we will be at Ingawanis, doing foxhunt etc, though we still don't have a good count of the number of scouts attending. NEW BUSINESS ------------ John (WB0MAR):Hamcation has been cancelled for this year (it's usually 2nd week of Feb) Tom (AE0TB): Vicki was notified that John Palmer is silent key. Taryn (N0TKC): What's the status of the christmas party? It's normally the November meeting. Mark has asked Doreen, Miracle on Main is on that weekend and we'd have to reschedule to Sunday for there. (probably not happening) Dave (K0CQH): Do we just want to do a vote by mail? Taryn (N0TKC): We could go with some online anonymous voting like Survey Monkey, it's free to use. (only the survey admin can see the votes to count them) Motion to use Survey Monkey (WB0MAR / AE0TB) Bill (W0GEN) has volunteered to be the admin since he's going to be in Texas for the season and is therefor not eligible to run. Nominations were entertained for the election of officers for 2021. (we will also accept nominations next month just before voting) Nominations: President NK0T (new) Vice-President: KB0VGG (new) Secretary: N0ZYC (incumbent) Treasurer: K0DV (incumbent) Director 2021: WB0MAR (incumbent) Motion to approve nominations (N8TWO / W0GEN) Dave (KD0DK): Tim Parker (N0VZE) just bought a TMD710 and could use some assistance programming it up if anyone can help with that. He lives on Wallgate in Waterloo, knows NK0T. Dave has his phone number if anyone can hook up with him somehow. (W0GEN or NK0T should be able to assist) Tom (AE0TB): We had a test session earlier today, two rounds passed all 3 extras and all four techs. Congrats on W0GEN foe attaining extra!
