(apologies for the late minutes, it's been a very busy month for me and I let it fall through the cracks) Northeast Iowa Radio Amateur Association (NIRAA/W0MG) Meeting Minutes, Nov 2019 The December gathering of the Northeast Iowa Radio Amateur's Association (NIRAA) was called to order at 8:43 PM December 14, 2019 by Harold Lucas (N4HRL). There were 14 members (12 ARRL) and 3 guests in attendance this evening, listed below. MINUTES ------- Adjustments to last month's minutes: Although Taryn was discussing accepting Dave's remaining rear of directorship if he took on treasurer, it was John Humpal (WB0MAR) that took that position, and it was Jan Fitkin (KE0IWQ) who was elected for our new 2020 director Tom (AE0TB) We aren't doing anything in the CF library right now, remove that from the activities listed in the minutes. Miniutes accepted with 2 updates (UNANYMOUS) TREASURER'S REPORT ------------------ Dave (KD0DK) (our new treasurer) had to leave unexpededy and was unable to provide treasurer updates. Dave (K0CQH) (the departing treasurer) reported they had some difficulty transferring permissions at the bank but will get things settled. (this will require them to physically visit the bank) Other things needing to be updated include changing insurance contacts, ARRL club account access, and the bank suggested we get a "backup admin" authorized on the club's account. This seems an obvious fit for the club secretary Nathan (N0ZYC), although he's also the club trustee and assisting with club station access as well, so that does place numerous roles on one individual. Tom (AE0TB) We can sort that out at the next board meeting. Dave (K0CQH) reports there was probably no change in account balances since last momnth. ($1,090.18 in the savings/repeater fund and 2,144.56 in sharedraft) Please contact Dave (Kelly) if you would like to get your dues paid for the year. Currently Curt (NK0T) is the primary admin, with Nathan (N0ZYC) as the backup. (Nathan needs some training though) Create an account on the remote hams website, "RCFORB" is the software you will need.
