notes regarding board meeting to discuss the NIRAA's participation in the 2017 boy scouts camporee

scouts provide some materials

morning build antenna
afternoon do foxhunt
have to be out by 6

foxhnut 1-5

scouts bnring pvc hose clamp and tape measure
we need to supply 3ft coax pigtails with connectors (sma or bnc)

maybe a singole or two lost scouts to find
contest to see which group can get the x closest

set up lost scout in a small tent
use periodic transmitter on low power
possibly with curt's attenuator
attach to 7ah gel cell

set up a 20 and 40 m antenna and station to get special event stations
mark will have a list

need to have vertical antennas for distance
end fed dipole like stan?

set up a uhf/vhf for local repeaters also

curt will bring the beam to be assembled

call around to see who can make buttons
