SCOUT PROJECT IDEAS

scouts build a 20m or 40m dipole and use it.

scouts build crystal receiver and we have a local low power tx
most parts are easy to get, the high impedence earphone will be a problem

remote light flasher or beeper to practice one way code, takehome project
telephone wires are 4 conductor full duplex :)
how about 3 wire, +/-/sig, one key does sig on both sides, led on one
end, buzzer on the other, so they get feedback from their own tx for free

spark gap relay transmitters another easy project

find 9v batteries for supercheap, scouts bring your own battery for projects
mark has 9v snaps, wendel/curt/nathan have pretty much everything else



ANTENNA AND RADIO SETUP

we could really use stan's HF filters

my 4 bay folded dipole 2m repeater antenna, curt makes harness

mark and urt both have a variety of antenna to bring, shoud have bands covered
