Greg (N0GES) was going to set up a small station outside but let Curt (NK0T) replace it with the IC-7300 he
brought, and instead set up and ran his IC-705 in the middle of the shelter, making some HF contacts on an
improvised longwire.

Dave (K0CQH) set up his KX-3 at the far end, and did most of the morse training as well as running the radio
for scout communications with Curt.

Curt brought a few old military straight keys to try on his IC-7300, including one with leg-straps, for sending
code while driving?
