what we would have done differently

what needed better preparation
- need to get an event coordinator to participate in our final meeting before the event

coordination issues
- need a dedicated, informed contact that is continuously available

other possible changes
- should be no problem to have a low elevation, low power repeater
- uhf would make for a much more portable repeater
- 220 is the sweet spot for mobile comms but limited power, limited bandwitdth, less common radios
