Camp Ingawanis:




Camp Ingawanis is the main scout camp in the area, located SE of Waverly, NE of Denver, in an area of dense
trees and sometimes steep and rugged terrain. The main entrance is in the NorthEast corner, and the gravel
roads give access to a large front parking lot and lodge, as well as several cabins and open shelters. Set your
GPS to "2490 Grand Avenue Waverly, IA" for the North entrance. (2482 is their "official street address", but
that will take you to the pool for some reason?)

Camp rules were updated in 2025 and they're now requiring all vehicles involved with scout activities to be
"certified" by being verified to include a fire extinguisher and first aid kit. Vehicles used for transporting
scouts or used at the shelters will need to "check in" at the First Aid station at the main camp to get a window
placard indicating your vehicle is approved for camp use. There's also a clipboard there for you to "sign in"
and receive an arm-band. Don't forget to sign out when you leave!
