August Picnics:


In years past, many members of NIRAA were gone on vacation in August due to their workplace (John Deere)
being in 'shutdown', so the meeting was usually not held and was instead replaced with a club picnic for
those still in town.

Most of those members have since retired, though we've continued the tradition of a club picnic that month,
although there's usually a brief meeting at the start or end of the event.
