This has done a good job keeping the coax and control cables safe from squirrels at my house. It's not armor,
it doesn't do anything to protect the wires. It just takes away that crunchy texture the squirrels look for
when they want to chew on something. And with the split in the side, it can be added to existing wire without
having to unfasten it or remove connector ends.
