2022.04.23 Ingawanis antenna upgrade:


The local BSA has agreed to host a UHF repeater for the club. Their camp is at the top of some rugged bluff
terrain North of town, which is an excellent location. In addition, they already have a 65 foot tower on
the main hall, complete with several antennas. The big antenna is an 8 bay UHF that is probably tuned for UHF
in business band a little above 70cm, and is fed with 2" hardline. (not used, not sure on the history of it)

The other two antennas are fed with thinner coax, possibly RG-8X size, to what looks to be a short vertical
and a flat antenna. At least one of these is used for the camp's wifi.

As of April we have the repeater cabinet installed but the antenna will need to be replaced with something in
band, so we'll be taking it down and replacing it with another UHF mutli-bay we have prepared.
