2012.10.07 visiting W9DRR's station:


Don (W9DRR) is currently the radio engineer for a transmitter out in the country, and invited me to come
take a quick your of the facilities. I wasn't going to say no! Seeing these things on TV is one thing, but
seeing them in person is a totally different experience. The scale of everything is just so much bigger than
you're expecting. But the tube... it was actually considerably smaller than I was expecting it to be.
