back to Antenna Parties

2012.04.07 Readlyn setup 2012.04.07 Readlyn setup:

The Readlin water tower will make an outstanding location for a repeater, providing great coverage to the
North. We had a great turnout of ground crew to handle the shack work and climber support.

Maybe not impressive for some, but this was my highest climb to-date, and was a wonderful experience.
The view from up on the tower (125 ft at the catwalk) was breathtaking.

Kip was also on the tower, and together we got most of the work done that day, though another trip would
be necessary to finish the tower work. We lacked some hardware we needed, and were running out of light.
All the ground work was done and all we had left was coax dressing and physically attaching the antenna
to the tower.
