2017.09.13 Praying Mantis:




I just happened to notice this big praying mantis hanging out on a tree in the courtyard. It's the first time
I've ever gotten to see one in person. Its rich brown and green colors were ideal camouflage for the area.
It was pretty large - the body was at least 3 inches long.
