I mounted a 100w solar panel on my luggage rack to keep my battery topped due to a slow discharge the shop
couldn't find. I didn't use very big wire ties, and after passing THREE trucks in rapid succession at
55 mph in a temporary undivided construction area, the last rig's wind ripped the panel off and sent it
cartwheeling through the air and into the ditch.
I finally went back and recovered it, and was able to repair it. But it's much better secured now. I'm glad
it sailed off into the ditch rather than into traffic and hit someone. I wonder what the car behind me
thought when they saw that?
