Everyone's favorite, Heathkit sold them like hotcakes, oil not included. They got filled with everything from
cooking oil to mineral oil to motor oil to PCB-laced transformer oil. So if you find one, you never quite know
what you're going to get. Lots of other people made them, and they're still being manufactured today. It's an
ancient design that still works fine today. Most have a vent on the top that will start leaking out oil if you
run it too hot for too long. And so most of them I see have a faint film of oil on their sides from overheating
incidents. I keep mine tucked in a 2-gallon zip-loc bag.

Some also had a 10 or 20 dB tap you could hook to an oscilloscope, staton monitor, or even implemented a diode
so just hook it right to a meter in a box and call it a watt-meter.
