Meshtastic hosts an MQTT broker server with regional topics and is a good place to start with MQTT, although
you may want to join another local server (or host your own) in the future.

JSON: yes (if your device supports it, JSON is not supported on the nRF52 platform)
Start with your primary channel set to LongFast, using default settings. (this channel will be set up in your
radio by default) From there you can chat with other users in your region and discover new channels you may
be interested in adding to your channel list.
