piccon
piccon:
Byonic's piccon controllers work well for fox control. They feature DTMF remote control, adjustable transmit
and sleep times, customizable transmit melody, and morse code ID.
Byonics also offers control cables for several different common radio designs, or you can just make your
own with a common DB-9 connector. Watch out for RF getting into things! I use clamp-on chokes to prevent
radio malfunctions.
Once turned on, control the fox by sending DTMF commands (when it's not transmitting of course)
1: RUN (it should immediately begin a transmission)
2: Toggle RUN / STOP
3: STOP
4: LOCK (ignores all DTMF commands until you unlock it)
#xxxx: UNLOCK (with passcode xxxx)
A2xxyy: change transmit time to xx:yy
A3xxyy: change look time to xx:yy
