fox-2 beacon:




As usual, the second beacon proved to be a good warm-up for the players. This is a "micro-fox", housed in a
black film canister, with a stubby antenna on the top. It's easily small enough to fit in your pocket, and
all I have to to do to hide it is just find a spot with a little bit of short weeds and set it down. It will
usually get stepped on a few times before someone finally realizes where it is. And due to it's small size,
it's not unusual for players to step right over it and head into the scrub behind it to start hunting for a
much larger package concealed in the denser weeds.
