cable TV distribution line leakage sniffer:


I ran across an old portable receiver that looks like something a cable TV company would use to identify the source
of cable TV signal leakage on their lines. It's got a fairly wide banded receiver with adjustable selectivity.
It probably won't work for hunting noise, but it might work for tracking down sources of inter-mod.

I don't have a picture of this or know the model number off-hand. I'll post more information on it later, but
it doesn't look like anything a regular consumer not "in the industry" could easily buy, and it probably cost
an arm and a leg back in the 70s when it was manufactured.
