10 fuses melting:




I'm not entirely sure why, but the fuses in two of the panel combiners overheated, one bad enough that it broke
the fuse holder and started melting the plastic box. I discovered this when resetting my solar gear on the day
after Winter Field Day 2026.

After replacing the obviously bad one, I tested the other five and found another one that was iffy and replaced
its fuse holder as well. The holders are (only) rated to five amps (at 250v), and that's more than they should be
seeing, so I'm not really sure why they melted. Might be under-spec'd, and I just need to cram a regular (6x30)
fuse in there instead? Space is kinda tight in there but maybe the additional vertical space from the box lid will
be enough?

(I also just noticed the second melt mark on the interior of the lid, so the schottky diode also overheated)
