PP to cig lighter project:




Sometimes you need to be able to power up something that was designed to plug into a car's cigarette lighter
for power. With the disappearance of cigarette lighters in modern vehicles, auto makers have started to include
"power ports" to provide power for consumer devices. They're no longer cigarette lighters, just power.

So I found a sturdy adapter pigtail to make a powerpole adapter from. It's got shockingly thick wire (it's at
least 10ga) along with a very well-built shell surrounding a thick brass outlet. All-in-all, it's a very good
outlet design.
