0.9 to 3.7 or 5v:
I discovered these recently for use with low power supercap-operated mesh nodes. They can boost up from as
little as 0.9 volts, to a fixed 3.7 or 5 volts. Use a solar controller to charge the supercap, and run this
boost regulator off the supercap. Supercaps don't mind "deep discharge", and this lets you run the node off
the supercap even when its voltage is getting quite low. The supercaps also have a very high cycle count,
and don't mind charging in cold weather.
