super cheap heating:




Here's a guy that's heating his work shed using a small and inexpensive "diesel heater" that runs off kerosine
(home heating oil) and can be supplemented with used cooking oil. He says it's "available for free from local
restaurants", but I suspect that's going to be be a pretty limited supply. Also there's a pretty big headache
and some additional expense involved in filtering that oil before you can use it.

Although this episode briefly covers the heater itself, its primary focus is on increasing the efficiency of the
heater by recovering additional heat from the exhaust line prior to venting it outside.
