back to YR-1001 fan speed controller

menu menu:

Mine didn't come with instructions but I'll try to describe it. The board has a 3-digi 7-segment LED display
and three buttons, I'll refer to the buttons as LEFT, CENTER, and RIGHT.

When powered on it will display firmware version (mine says V1.2) and then switch to temperature reading in
degrees C. If the temp sensor reads higher than the auto-on temp, the fan will start spinning.

Press LEFT to enter the menu. It will briefly display option menu name, and then show the value, with one
digit blinking. Note that some menus show a decimal point and others do not. If you press LEFT again, it will
advance to the next menu option. After displaying all options it will display "END" and exit back to displaying
the temperature. At any time you can hold LEFT and it will go immediately to END and exit the menu.

When not in the menu, pressing CENTER or RIGHT will display the fan speed, turn on the fan, and respond to
the CENTER (up) and RIGHT (down) to adjust the fan speed. Press LEFT when done to save the new speed
and turn the fan off. This could be used for "manual fan control", although turning it on changes the speed a bit.

Menu options:

LA: degrees (C) when fan automatically turns on

LAy: degrees (C) below LA when fan automatically turns off

SDC: slow duty cycle - PWM percent for minimum fan speed (don't set too slow or fan will fail to start)

HA: high degrees (C) - temp where fans will spin at maximum speed

FDC: fast duty cycle - PWM percent for maximum fan speed (lower to decrease fan noise at max speed)

oE: degrees (C) thermostate temperature adjustment

When not in menu, press and hold LEFT for five seconds to reset the board to default settings (displays RST)

Whe temperature hits LA, the fan will turn on automatically and will spin at increasingly faster speeds for temps
closer to HA. Fan speed will slow down as temperature drops, turning off completely at LA-LAy degrees (C).
