Quite some time ago we had a thunderstorm moving through the area, with heavy lightning. I gathered up my
digital camera, all my battery packs, and my laptop computer, and headed for an overpass South of town.
There, I just pointed the camera in the direction of activity and held down the button, taking picture after
picture, until the card was filled up. I'd quickly review the pictures, and delete any black frames, then
go again.
I repeated this until the card was getting full of possible shots, and then take the time to "dump" the card
to my computer, clear it, and start again. I repeated this process until my camera battery packs were all
dead, which was about the time the storm was winding down.
Pictured below are the handful of "winners" from the evening's photo shoot.
