Tenma soldering station
Tenma soldering station:
I've had this Tenma soldering station for decades now. It's reliable, has good thermal regulation, and
changeable tips / irons. It's only 48 watts though, so sometimes it needs a little help with bigger
connectors and splices. The thermal regulation prevents tip overheating, and it works well with SMD
soldering if you switch to a smaller tip size. Since the iron is pluggable, I'd suggest getting a
second iron and fit it with a smaller tip, to make switching between regular and SMD soldering easier.
