DSO Nano
DSO Nano:
DSO stands for Digital Storage Oscilloscope. It's basically a digital storage scope the size of a pack of
playing cards. Fastest timebase is 1uS (default 0.2mS), max sensitivity is 10mV/div (default 1.0v/d). The
max timebase is 2sec. It's not meant to replace your desktop scope, it's meant to be handy and portable. It
pairs well with similar class tech such as Arduino.
The single channel connection is just a 3.5mm mono headphone jack, and it comes with two "probes", one with
breadboard pins and the other with small wire clips. Runs on an internal rechargeable battery, charges up
via USB-mini (not micro), can capture screenshots and mount up its storage over USB to save to computer.
I bought one of these awhile ago on a bit of a whim. I've barely used it though which is a bit of a shame.
It's extremely handy when I just need a quick peek at some AC waveform, like in an Arduino project. It also
has a few other functions liek RMS voltage display and frequency counter.
