On startup, board briefly displays firmware version, then displays current temp (C) and goes into automatic
(temperature controlled fan) mode

In automatic mode, press the left button to switch to manual (user-controlled) fan speed.
Display shows current percent speed in range 0-100.
Press (or hold) the middle or right button to decrease or increase the fan speed.
Hold the left button 2 seconds to return to automatic mode.

In automatic mode, hold the left button 2 seconds to change settings one at a time:
LA   30.0  turn-on temp (C)
LAY  05.0  degrees below turn-on temp to turn off (C)
SDC  020   fan low speed
HA   50.0  fan med speed
FDC  100   fan high speed
oE   00.0  temp adjust
Press (or hold) the middle or right button to lower or raise the flashing digit. (with carry)
Hold the middle button 2 seconds to change to another digit.
Press the left button to advance to the next setting
After the last setting, display will briefly show "END" and then return to automatic mode
