I've tried several different kinds of gloves, but I keep getting better results with cheap hardware store ones.
They fit better, grip better, and are easily replaced if needed.
I'm currently using Kemi Moto for their flexibility and knuckle protection. Whatever you get, just find
something that's comfortable and has good grip on the tower.
