Black Diamond ATC Belay Device:




This device assists with belaying down a rope by managing the ropes and keeping them in a safe configuration
that provides the right amount of friction and good control without shifting or jamming.

This is an old model, the newer ones are made of thicker material for longer lifespan and have an asymmetric
feed that provides additional friction if needed.

These belay devices are designed to work with either single or double ropes.
