Craftsman Evolv 13 Piece Quick Fit Nut Driver Set with Case, 9-14064, MSRP $19.99
Years ago I bought (or was given?) a raftsman Evolv driver set. It's got a lot of good features, including a
good variety of nut sizes (standard and metric), a detachable handle that operates the drivers both from the
end as a regular driver and also from the center for more torque. And it comes in a compact zipper pouch that
takes up very little space.
Unfortunately, after much use the magnet that holds the bits in the end came out and it no longer holds the
drivers in. Being a Craftsman hand tool, I gave them a call to see if they could replace it. This set isn't
available anymore, and they don't sell anything like it. I just needed a replacement handle, but was out of
luck. After spending a long time on the phone we settled for a different driver set as a replacement. It was
more of a "consolation prize" though since it doesn't offer all the advantages of the Evolv set. I also looked
online and there are a few dual-purpose handles online, but they're not magnetic and reviews say they're cheap
and strip out easily.
