As I was expecting, it didn't get better after removing the moth. I'm calling it a bad power supply, and will
take things apart for recycle (steel) and maybe try to sell the electronics etc as a package on eBay. Someone
is likely to need the front control panel and/or control board, the magnetron should be of use to someone, and
also little things like the latch and door interlock switch that could get worn out from use.

I'll be returning the magnetron to Amazon to get my money back for that. I wonder what they do with a return
like that? It's not the easiest thing to test. Probably will go back to the seller, or wind up in one of
those "amazon return crate" auctions.
