Well the replacement magnetron is in. It wasn't the cheapest, but I wasn't going to wait a month to get one
from china. This one has prime / free returns too so that'll be nice if it doesn't fix it. It was packed
okay but got a bit beat up - mounting ears bent, little chip out of the HV collar. It's NOT a new magnetron
either... it's clearly cruddy from being pulled from a used microwave. The listing didn't SAY it was new,
but it didn't say it was USED either. I'd call that a bit shady. If it's on eBay there's a good change it's
used, but on Amazon, I expect new unless otherwise noted in the listing. It doesn't look like it'll be a
problem to just bend things back and give it a go.
