I happened to be browsing splitters when I ran into these, they're a newer variation on the one I've already
bought, but these have two 1/4" and two 3.5mm ports. Since there's usually just two headphones, that should
eliminate the need for adapters. The input is only 1/4", but the unit comes with a 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter,
so I guess that can live there? It also uses a 12vdc barrel, so will make a few more power cables for them.
