Due to the combination of very few available batteries and light-to-medium overcast the entire event, the four
panels I brought just weren't getting the job done. I made a quick run back home and collected "maximum effort"
panels, bringing the other set of four heavies, along with both bags of 8 lightweight (2LB) panels, for a grand
total of 24 100w panels. I had anticipated the need to deploy all my panels at once, and had the necessary six
panel combiners as well as six input ports on the string combiner. So despite the overcast, the panels were still
able to bring in several hundred watts to charge up and maintain the batteries.
The annotated picture shows how the panels were connected together. 24 panels (blue stars) connect to six
panel combiner boxes (yellow stars), which all connect to the string combiner box (purple star) which then
feeds the solar controller.
