Al (KB0VGG) brought his new compact gas generator and heavy drop cord. Normally we'd power the logging
and digital laptops off 12v DC charge adapters, but Al needed to "break in" his new generator, so we just ran
them all off that instead. He positioned it about 50ft from the shelter, just on the other side of a small flower
bed, and it ran very quietly. It looks like he went through only 1-2 gallons of gas the entire day, though it
wasn't very heavily loaded.
