Winter Field Day Association:




Winter Field Day is NOT an ARRL event, it's run by the Winter Field Day Association. The first event was in
2022, and it's held on the 4th full weekend in January. Like the ARRL's (Summer) Field Day, they run it like a
contest, and there are some rules to follow if you want to compete in the contest. Of course you don't have to
participate in the formal contest, but I think most groups do. Similar to Summer Field Day, groups can upload
a summary of their activity for compilation and public listing after the event.

In 2025, they expanded the time window, which will help to get more "bang for the buck" on the event, but the
normal 24-hour timeframe has been restored for 2026

Its main attendance is from North America, but their world map shows groups checking in from all over the globe.
