Storms swept through the area early in the morning, but skies were forecast to be clear the rest of the day.
Despite the radar forecast being clear, the hourly forecast suggested rain around 11:00. Considering the
morning storms, I moved my arrival time out from 7am to 9am, and ended up arriving closer to 10am. There was
a little light rain on the way in, but skies were dry and temps were climbing rapidly by the time I arrived.
The skies were mostly sunny, with only a few small scattered clouds, so it was headed into the high 80s at
the very least.
